Capstar® (nitenpyram) is an oral medication used in the treatment of flea infestations on dogs and puppies, cats and kittens 4 weeks of age or older and at least 2 pounds of body weight. Capstar is safe to use in pregnant or breeding animals. Capstar begins to kill adult fleas on the pet within 30 minutes and the effect lasts for 24 hours. This product only treats the pet; to properly control fleas, also treat the environments where pets live.

Frontline® Plus (fipronil/methoprene) acts on the nervous system of fleas and ticks, causing paralysis and death of the parasite. Frontline Plus spreads over your pet's body via the natural oils in its skin, killing 98-100% of the fleas or ticks within 24-48 hours, and controls transmission of tick-borne disease. Frontline Plus combines fipronil and (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator (IGR), to provide the most effective spot-on flea and tick protection available for dogs and cats. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles and then is released over time (up to 1 month) from the hair follicles onto the skin and hair. Methoprene stops flea larvae from developing into mature forms. Frontline Plus kills all stages of fleas on dogs for up to three months and for up to six weeks on cats, as well as the four major kinds of ticks that transmit serious diseases, including those that may carry Lyme disease. Frontline Plus stays on even with bathing, swimming, or exposure to sunlight. Approved for use on puppies and kittens 8 weeks of age and older.

Frontline® Spray helps to reduce and control fleas and ticks. Waterproof. Works up to 30 days, even if pet swims or is bathed. Safe for use on puppies and kittens 8 weeks of age. For severe infestations, follow up in 30 days by using Frontline Plus or Frontline Top Spot topical treatments.

Frontline® Top Spot kills adult fleas before they lay eggs and controls fleas which may cause flea allergy dermatitis. Kills all stages of brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks, and deer ticks (which may carry Lyme disease). Rapidly eliminates infestations that cause sarcoptic mange. Frontline contains the active ingredient fipronil which effectively targets fleas, ticks and chewing lice. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat for up to 30 days, and is waterproof so it works even if pet swims or is bathed. Safe for use in puppies 8 weeks and older and on pets that are breeding, pregnant or nursing.

Program® contains lufenuron, an insect growth regulator, which is effective in preventing flea eggs and larvae from developing, breaking the flea life cycle at its base. Program can be used in cats and kittens 6 weeks of age and older, and is safe for use in pregnant and breeding animals.
